Heron View has two guest bedrooms. Maud is on the ground floor and has a shower ensuite. Hugh is upstairs and has a bath ensuite. Both rooms have comfortable zip-and-link beds and can be set up with either a superking double or with twin European-length singles. To help our guests have a wonderful night’s sleep we provide high quality cotton bedlinen and hypoallergenic bedding.
Each room has its own satellite TV, hair dryer, coffee and tea making facilities. We provide fresh milk and chilled water.
Facilities
In addition to the large beamed dining room, there is also a cosy ground-floor sitting room. Guests can relax in front of the gas fireplace with books or games, and enjoy the views out over the village common to the river.
There is free wi-fi for our guests throughout the house.
We have parking for up to three cars, and secure on-site storage for sports equipment like bicycles and kayaks.
You are welcome to borrow our iron, and we can also wash and dry your clothes if required for a small charge.
